The Member Relations and Outreach Committee met on October 26, 2023, in New Orleans, LA, during the NAB 2023 Mid-Year Meeting.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed the goals of the 2023-24 Strategic Plan, starting with social media initiatives. New initiatives were introduced on social media, relating to the NAB Study Guide, HSE, and meetings. Facebook and LinkedIn are seeing significant increases in new followers. Posts regarding the Study Guide have received the most engagement and impressions.
Analytics of the new website were reviewed, including top pages and top searched.
The new NAB Collateral Cards were shared with attendees. A total of five cards with questions, answers, and QR codes were reviewed. The hope is that these will be primarily distributed at trade shows, social media, and state association meetings.
Members broke out to discuss ideas for new cards, as well as future how-to videos for the website.
