The State Governance and Regulatory Issues (SGRI) meeting was a comprehensive session that spanned several key topics. The meeting commenced with a report from the Credentialing Commission on the HSE, proudly announcing that over 330 individuals are HSE qualified. The adoption of the HSE standard by 28 states, with Iowa being the latest, and the potential inclusion of a dozen more states, was a significant highlight.

The meeting then shifted focus to the rebranding of Administrator Residency, acknowledging the concerted efforts made through social media posts, marketing materials, and website updates to facilitate this transition. In alignment with strategic plan objectives, the creation of a "Value of Licensure" draft document was discussed. A period for public comment was declared, and attendees were informed about the process to review the document.

The session concluded with an insightful review of the states that support the HSE standard and the implications of this commitment. It was emphasized that the NAB HSE standard aligns with the state's minimum requirements for education, experience, and the NAB exams for licensing.
