On November 13, 2024, the NAB Foundation Board convened at The DeSoto Hotel in Savannah, GA, for a productive meeting that covered a range of important topics. Chair Z Thomas initiated a discussion referencing the 2025-26 Strategic Plan. With the current plan set to expire in 2025, an update will soon be underway. The Board’s strategic discussion provided insight into the goals that the NAB Foundation has met, and the extent of their achievement. The Trustees heard a report from the Vision Centre, which is supported by the Foundation. The Foundation also reviewed the proposed budget for 2025, highlighting an increase in expenses. The Trustees will review the budget in the coming weeks and reconvene to consider any necessary revisions. The meeting ended with a call for new trustees to fill upcoming expiring terms.
