Marketing and Member Relations Committee
The Member Relations and Outreach Committee's session at the NAB annual meeting was a hub of engagement, reflecting on the strategic plan's triumphs. The committee proudly acknowledged the fulfillment of its objectives, including the successful promotion of the HSE toolkit for states, a thorough policy and procedure review, and the enhancement of committee diversity. This latter achievement was facilitated by the introduction of a standing committee interest survey, actively promoted at the meeting to inspire participation in the upcoming 2024-26 term.
A deep dive into NAB's social media presence revealed the impact of various posts, with a highlight being the debut of a new AI-created "how-to" video. The session also sparked discussions on potential future video topics and the proposal of a dedicated page on the NAB website to consolidate all YouTube content for streamlined access.
In a dynamic breakout session, attendees collaboratively explored the transition to "Administrator Residency" from "Administrator in Training," with each group presenting the challenges and prospects identified within this evolution.
