Session Title: PositiveAge's Virtual AR/AIT Leadership Program: Virginia's Pathway to Administrator Success

Session Description: The Virtual AR/AIT Leadership Program: A Pathway to Administrator Success is an innovative, virtual leadership development program designed to strengthen the pipeline of future nursing home and assisted living administrators. Developed by LeadingAge Virginia and PositiveAge, with support from the NAB Foundation, the program provides Administrators-in-Training (AITs) with structured education, leadership development, peer connection, and practical resources to help them successfully transition into administrator roles. The program was created in response to a critical workforce need: developing and retaining the next generation of leaders in aging services. While AITs receive valuable hands-on experience in their communities, they may have limited opportunities to connect with peers, learn from experienced administrators, and develop the broader leadership skills needed to succeed.
