During the 2023 Mid-Year Meeting, the Education Committee had the opportunity to review two academic accreditation programs, one up for NAB HSE™ renewal and one for initial accreditation. Eastern Washington University (WA) was recommended for renewal of their accredited programs, which was passed by the Board of Governors. Youngstown State University – Masters of Health and Human Services (OH) application was voted to be held in abeyance through the 2024 Mid-Year Meeting until the mandatory requirements of the program are met.
The remainder of the Education Meeting focused on the Education Task Force presentations which included discussion around the special circumstance categories that can be voted on during the Academic Accreditation process. The recommendations were brought forth and voted to accept the recommendations.
