O’Keeffe was able to capture the beauty of nature and the spirit of the Southwest. Her work is celebrated at the Georgia O’Keefe Museum which houses an extensive collection of her pieces.

Santa Fe Farmers Market

The Santa Fe Farmers Market is comprised of local vendors selling fresh local produce, handmade goods, apothecary items, spices, fair trade, and more. It is widely considered one of the best farmers’ markets in the United States.

Santa Fe Plaza and Downtown

Historic Churches

Santa Fe is home to three historic churches, The San Miguel Chapel, The Loretto Chapel, and The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Francis Assisi. Each church has its own distinct architectural style that beckons visitors to delve into the rich history of each building. With only a short walking distance in between all three churches you could knock out a self-guided tour in a day.

Sky Railway

Passengers will be treated to the magnificent landscape of New Mexico while traveling the historic rail between Santa Fe and Lamy New Mexico on the Sky Railway. Dia de Muertos

Dia de los Muertos on the Santa Fe Plaza

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is celebrated on the Santa Fe Plaza, with colorful decorations, marigolds, masks, and decorative skulls, honoring those who have passed. The event features vibrant celebrations, with families gathering at the plaza to honor loved ones, often building altars, visiting graves, and sharing food.
