Standing Committee Member or NCERS Reviewer
We are excited to offer our volunteers the opportunity to express their interest in becoming a Standing Committee Member or an NCERS Reviewer by completing an interest survey.
Please complete the survey by Monday, July 8th, 2024, if you wish to serve on a standing committee that aligns with your interests or as an NCERS Reviewer. Current standing committee members must fill out this survey to reaffirm their continued interest.
Upon completion, the Standing Committee Chairs will review all submissions and selected individuals will be notified in the summer. Please note that completing this survey does not guarantee selection.
Before applying, we urge you to read the expectations and qualifications for both roles:
Expectations of Standing Committee Members:
· To attend standing committee meetings held from November 2024 through June 2026, as part of the NAB Annual and Mid-Year meetings and all ad hoc meetings called by the standing committee chair. Standing committee members are responsible for their own expenses and attendance costs unless you serve a dual role where your attendance is covered by NAB.
· To be current in their member dues, if not the designated representative of a NAB governing board, Organizational Member, International Member, or the recipient of the Randy L. Lindner Distinguished Leadership Award, where dues are covered. See the Bylaws membership section for details.
· Recuse themselves from the committee or committee votes where there is a conflict of interest.
Expectations of NCERS Reviewers:
· To attend NCERS Reviewer training in person or virtually in 2025.
· To review NCERS programs as assigned, in a timely manner, following established reviewer guidelines.
Qualification to be a Standing Committee Member:
Standing committee members must be:
· The appointed representative of a NAB governing member board, or
· The designated faculty member of an Organizational Member, or
· The designated representative of an International Member, or
· A Subscribing Member of NAB who has paid their current dues. See the Bylaws for subscribing members details.
